Foggy and rainy up at K, an inch and a half sugared over the existing snow pack. I think the extended Superstar terrain (Skylark and upper Ovation) will make it to the weekend, but who knows. As Peruvian and MNIAW reffered to it: the “sand” piles were super fun today.

Closing day at the River wasn't quite as lively or as crowded as I expected, but by mid afternoon there were a pretty good number of folks having fun. Patrol was being quite proactive in getting stuff down the hill, and trails without ropes are open, right?

Donny Pelletier made an appearance, too, and got quite the reaction from the lift.

Got back up today for a skin with the dog, and while they've plowed some of the work roads, most stuff is still skiing pretty damn well for this time of year.Click image for larger version.

Anyone head up to Mt. Washington recently? Wondering the Tuckerman Ravine Trail and Sherbie are hiking only at this point or if they are still skiable/skinnable. Thanks!

    Serious question??

Hike the TRT, not the Sherb. Always.

    NE Roll Call 18/19

Pretty sure the Sherb is downhill only.

That guy on Ovation is killing it on those BBR’s!

TRT was still mostly skinnable last Tuesday, but Sherbie was going fast and some portion is now closed (report mentioned which crossover, but I forget which).

Yes it is. Although if you can go down something, you should in theory be able to go up it? But you are correct.

By report, the top mile of the Sherby was open as of Sunday. The rope is at the cache by the long crossover to the TRT.
