Hey has anyone driven up 93 through the Franconia notch seen if Cannon is white enough to skin up? have they been making snow? the summit cam looks bare, but wondering if there are strips of man-made white?
Forecast is dicey this weekend on the rain/snow line.

People were skiing Smuggs with the 4-6 inches we got in the last storm. Not saying its a good idea, but people do it.

Good thing the DHART's always ready to roll.
Edit to add, looks like less than a 30min response time.

bush blowing top 300 down to the spillville crossover on OG and Jester.Must be pushing Max water up high first to lay down a layer of ice before moving downhill. Maybe they got a new snowmaking head as this is a different plan than they've ever done before.
Putting my winter wheels on this afternoon.

Would love to be camped out at Sterling Pond tonight. If this thing registers it is going to absolutely dump tittyballs for a few hours

Snown' and blown' here in the foothills of the NEK. Go up 150' higher on the hill by my house and there is 2-3" on the ground. Reports of 6"+ already in the uplands. I'm headed to hunting camp near Island Pond mid morning after coaching hockey tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see close to a foot up there. 😀

Solid.
Vets day @Killington tomorrow, free for those who served. Couple years now I've ridden the lift with West Point ski team coaches. Good folks, cool team of kids. Rock.

Lift ride at Stowe looks slow, skiing looks much better though.

Judging from the webcam, skiing to the base of Rime is the wrong move.

Shallow wet cover by the Cog base @9:20AM, the grassy areas next to the lot had nearly 3 inches. Snizzling @32F. Did not try it.
The sad truth is that whine does not age well

MRG was pretty good. Snow dense enough to stay on top, even skied chute 2x.
