21` sunny and calm bob. Lost a lot of snow during the 48+ hrs of 45-50` windy weather. Hardly any some in the yard and mud season in full swing.

    New Masshole

I figured I should check in here as I live in MA and ski Greylock and the resorts in VT/NH. Always looking for new places to ski and people to ski with.

Fun fact I learned on Jeopardy last night (DVRd from a week or so ago):
Taco Bell was founded by a guy named Glenn Bell.

In-town snow loss here in Bethel seems minimal; I think the yard is maybe 4" shallower, but I'm guessing there was as much consolidation as melting. Even around noontime yesterday, it was near 50 degrees air temp but snow in the shade still skied a little crispy skinning with the dog at Mt. Abram. Haven't been up to the bigger hill to see how things are skiing, but the report says they're starting the day on groomers only and the forecast is moderately promising.

I did not know that (although I *hate* Taco Bell).

An ex-boyfriend gave me this name years ago. He also used to call me the "Chesty Chalupa"

the initial freezing rain crust was so strong here in montreal, that the subsequent rain was actually pooling on it..

minimal loss, my backyard cave is still standing. but man is it icy.

glad to have gotten out a bit last week. this week is a good week to get shit done

Given my current work-to-ski balance, I'm not sure any part of the name is accurate, but I'm way too much of a creature of habit to change it.

Skied some "loud pow" aka refrozen smooth/icy groomed snow at BV this morning. Shockingly edgeable stuff. Objectively awful, subjectively fun! I was smiling.

Here's hoping. I'm fully prepared to teach into July if it means more mid-week pow.

I'm a MA based Greylock skiier too, although new baby incoming any day so not sure how the rest of my season is gonna shape up. Always looking for people to ski with there, especially on Fridays after some decent snow.

    Lulz up there ^^^^

Surprisingly once off the S-SW faces there is still a good base waiting for fresh snow. The current 3/16" and growing layer of ice isn't ideal, but tomorrow nights rain should wash it off [as it protects the snowpack].

i am starting a kitchen remodel on a short timeline the 13th, you're welcome.
