Sell, but I hope not move away. I mean the only other place you could move to and keep the TGR name is Peru, as in the country! Not to mention the needs of the fire dept and holiday lift corral at Magic, to name just two.

Nice back deck and back yard. Seems like a nice place. Good luck!
Where are you moving to? Staying local/local-ish?

    Do I bid $371 now?

I hope that this correspondence is received with the urgency and expediency.

It has come to the notice of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Reserve Bank that your present inheritance/lottery/contract claims application being handled by the Remitting Bank is experiencing some man made irregularities. To this effect, it has become necessary for the Board of Trustees to assign trained Fund Transfer Specialists from the United States to resolve and regularize your fund release with immediate effect.

We at Peter Simon & Consults have been duly consulted by the FRB Board of Trustees. We have been fully informed about how the staffs of the remitting bank has been taking advantage of you by telling you to pay unnecessarily exorbitant charges which will only make your fund payment a long drawn out process. Due to this development, we have been assigned to step into the immediate processing of your fund transfer to enable your funds to be transferred to you within the shortest possible time; To implement this, you are to get back to us immediately stating your readiness to have your long awaited fund released to without needing go through all the rigorous processes that were being demanded from you by the previous handlers at the remitting bank. All processes to have your funds paid to you immediately through the Liaison Remittance Office in Dallas, Texas have been initiated to cut out unnecessary costs.

You are advised to treat this communication with the urgency and seriousness required as the Board of Trustees of the Federal Reserve Bank has mandated us to resolve this fund payment within the next three working days independent of the office of the Remitting Bank in Africa. Furthermore, you are hereby advised to pay no further fees or charges to the Remitting Bank as they shall no longer be handling your payment process.

We shall await your immediate correspondence with your direct telephone numbers to my private email address (drpetersimons@consultant.com) for re-confirmation so that we may conclude your payment immediately.

    Yours Sincerely,
    Dr. Peter Simon.

Updated pic of the 20 acre Cotton Brook slide. I wouldn't be surprised to see some more in the east due to saturation this year.

Little rant from last week to start the day:
I took this photo last Thursday afternoon in the middle of a heavy rainstorm:

Since I don't go trampling around in farmers' field before they are hayed, I had taken this shot at the bottom of the short roadside bank without walking out into the field. However, I could see where others had walked out in the field (not really cool but not the worst thing in the world).

I went back to this spot Friday afternoon to get the shot with a little bit of blue sky and puffy clouds.
At the bottom of the bank and in front of me I could see where (in the last 24 hours) someone had come in a dug up a bunch of the lupine leaving pretty deep holes all over the place!

As I'm standing there stunned at the carnage (for less than a minute), a guy in a pickup drives up to the nearby intersection gets out and yells at me to get out of here. Which I quickly obliged. The man did NOT want to talk any further. He immediately got back in his truck and waited just down the road until I had completely driven away. I don't blame the guy for being royal mad.

Unfortunately, this location is likely spoiled for anyone who wants to take photos unless you do it from on the immediate edge of the road.

As wet as it is the mosquitoes are having a field day. Actually have them around the house, which is unusual.

Black flies are quickly being replaced by deer flies.
No-see-ums seem to be coming out in force as well.
And as VTF said... mosquitoes are EVERYWHERE this year due to the standing water that never gets a chance to dry up before it rains again.
At least the ticks seem to be going on their summer break.

Amazing how many blood suckers there are out there.

Not sure what happened to my original post but let's try again...must be the Canadian wifi !

We are up north of you for the week on vaca and the mosquitos and no-see-ums are downright vicious!

We did enjoy your Fete Nationale day which we had no idea about until a waitress mentioned it earlier in the day. A couple of great local French bands and a kick ass fireworks show made for a festive evening. Sorry you guys lost in the World Cup, was fun watching with the locals at a nearby bar.

    Summer storms are cool...

I've never seen the back lighting on a thunderstorm this intense. Unfortunately, I missed capturing lighting in the rainbow. I think I took 200 photos trying to get it.
