Seems a good opportunity for a Maggot meet-up. Ski movie, Bar, Sleep, Brunch, Dinner, Concert, Weekend to recover. Who wants to meetup for some Post Ullrfest/ Pre Season stoke?
I've been a bit slacking in the Boston mag meetups as of late, but now moving to Maine in October and might get back on the train.

Speaking of Portland, any Maine shop mags want to help me with a Pivot 18 mount, as well as a binding check on several other skis with P18s? I've stocked up on Trillium for my move north and trade fodder. I'd love to support my local shops, but don't want to pay $80 for a mount of bindings I didn't buy from them.

I hate this product. A probability of it being above normal? But by how much? 0.5 F or 10 C? Kinda makes a difference, especially to a snow maker.

It is however on to something as the euro weeklies are above normal out as far a small they go which is 6 weeks. Let’s hope this prediction was influenced by front side warmth - which we are in fact having - and that makes the entire period above normal while toward the later part of the forecast it gets cold. For Killington and any area targeting Thanksgiving it’s really the 5-10 days leading into it that are important. Although for the WC race the relevant date is snow control (5-7 days prior?) and not the race date.

Oh, and it could just be wrong 😉

KILLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) We know now what musical acts will be playing at the FIS World Cup at Killington this year.

There are some familiar names. The music will include DJ Logic, Recycled Percussion, the Vermont jam band Twiddle and Vermont's own Grace Potter, who organizers say is a fitting headliner considering the World Cup hosts the best female ski racers in the world.

Last year, 39,000 spectators turned out for the three-day event.

The 2019 FIS World Cup will be the fourth year in a row that the best female skiers in the world travel to Vermont to spend their Thanksgiving weekend on the slopes. That includes Burke Mountain Academy's Mikaela Shiffrin, who has dominated the slalom event.

But the World Cup is not just about the ski racing. Organizers say it brings in millions in economic activity to the region.

"We've really tried to change the culture of the whole community here getting everyone working together. The resort, the town and all the businesses, and I think something like World Cup has been great to bring everyone together and work toward a common goal," said Mike Solimano, the general manager of the Killington resort.

Killington officials also say the event really shows the world what skiing in the Northeast is all about, including Killington's ability to make snow. Mountain officials say the snow guns are already charging and they could begin testing the system within a week.

T4T was awesome help for me years back. Great people very helpful and enthusiastic. I think what I found was there were new people every spring looking for first time tuckerman advice and it got old.

Hope Dave is well. Haven’t spoken to him in years.

Complete topic drift but maybe good for some Boston mag. Buddy of mine is looking to sell a pair of floor tickets to Thievery Corp w/ Karl Denson opening at House of Blues on Oct 13, $35 each.
