If the driver would have actually driven down the middle instead of hugging the right side, the damage wouldn't have been nearly as bad.

Edit to add:
Apparently the Lincoln Covered Bridge in West Woodstock was badly damaged yesterday evening as well.
I guess the warming Spring weather brings out the shitty truck drivers like the first snow of the year brings out people who forgot how to drive in the snow.

Still mystifing that it happened....says the Metro Boston resident having to find alternate routes in three week periods, twice yearly from all the stuck trucks on Miserable and Sorrow Drives.

...and news story on the Woodstock covered bridge—driver towing trailer w/landscaping equipment apparently thought he'd make it until the Bad Noises started. Unlike the other driver, though, he did stop and call 911 himself.

Had a blast up there yesterday. Classic spring Kmart, huge party. So many good skiers show up this time of year. Place was going off! So fun ripping with a crew of maggs. Great to have ML and Scottski join in yesterday. Always a pleasure chatting with Mrs. G. Can’t wait till next weekend. 12 runs yesterday smoked my legs, after 8 Friday, I’m having trouble walking down stairs!
