fun watching the World Cup moguls at WF today. I can’t figure out how to upload a video. It’s definitely more impressive than the pics...

Skiing was really good today too. Comfortable temps and a lot of terrain open. Good times

Think Sunday will still be crazy busy? It is a holiday weekend, but I wonder how many people backed out of plans, won't drive up, will leave early, etc. due to bad weather?

I would bet that the more resort-like areas will have folks arriving Friday/Saturday and staying through the weekend, but more remote/local places with no lodging might be less of a zoo on Sunday.

One can hope, anyway.

Weird your link doesn’t show up in your post. But when I hit quote, it did. Looks like that 85 mil is for upgrading all the Olympic venues, not just Whiteface. That stuff is old man, and we actually have competitions up here practically every weekend all year round. Gore and Belleayre doesn’t have anything like that. And Cuomo has a huge crush on the Lake Placid area, guy is up here all the time and throws tons of money up here.

Heading up to VT Saturday a.m. and will probably hit Pico Sunday and Magic (1st time) Monday, maybe playing hooky an extra day somewhere Tuesday if conditions warrant. Hoping the cold keeps the crowds manageable . Also hoping the roads are doable getting there from my home base in Rochester.
