    Awesome shots VTF.

I got a throwback weekend with my ol’ ski house bros, which resulted in some shenanigans in the woods (insert joke here). Tried to take a pic of this sad, over-worked father of small children to boost his ego... and got sprayed: Click image for larger version.

Meh. Just a little tail drag. Not much of a transition except right in close. It might be mini golf but it was laugh out loud fun. Been looking at it 11 years. Cleaned it 3 years ago. First d. Stoked. I will not let your palpable bitterness drag me down. Been a great run of winter.

is this next to the quarry that doesn’t have the ice climb? I remember maybe 5 -4 years ago taking a a few wrong turns and getting into the rocks and slashing my skis with some core shots around that area. The Slate lines have some nice short as shit techy runs. When the lines re harden and another dump comes that line will be one pillow-tastic mo fo.

Its the quarry up chicken shit from the ski jump hill if that makes sense. Left of Lybrand might help. There s options for some pretty rad maneuvers if it gets deep again. Can t even belive that may be an option. 32 inches on the valley floor right now. Remarkable!

Somebody was asking about why MRG doesn’t historically allow snowboarding. Here’s Betsy in her own words.

It s the last 4 turns of a 500 vert run. After a little shuffle and side step you ski another few hundred down to the house including the meadow in the pic above and the glade down to my street so...not too bad.

The weekend of January 5th was definitely not the right time to hit Platty this year.

Was in New Orleans for work last week (including all the storm) so did my best to hunt down some leftovers in the notch yesterday. Weird upside down snow that made for some heinous booting, but was fun to get into some of those runs up there I'd been looking forward to riding since moving up this way.

    Spring skiing this week!

Been wavering between 48-51` with balm wind bob all morning under mixed skies. Melting fast like the Wicked Witch of the West. Oh well, such is the East.
