Skied Baron Monday night. Coverage was almost top to bottom. Snowed a few inches Tuesday morning. Cannon was fun, top part of the mountain in good shape. Had to walk most of lower. Tramway was spreadable cream cheese. Really good.

    No, not at all!
First, it wasn't a Glock, it was a Beretta Px4 Storm.
And that's only for the Northern Presidentials.
For Mount Washington, a full shotgun ammo belt is advised, although you still need the bp cuff and stethoscope (i.e., same as per King Ravine protocol):

Although the bush didn't lay down the karbon like Killington there is wall to wall snow on Steins. They groomed Steins and Spring Fling flat on Monday morning and messed around on Racers Edge farming snow for the base area and possibly building a couple of walk up jumps. Binocular scope of the top of RE yesterday revealed a mess that currently looks unskiable. Reverse Traverse should be open to access some other terrain.
There are NO bump lines to ski and it will likely be a mushy mess by noon on Saturday. I wouldn't burn a $128 value to ski this weekend, it's only $35 walkup rate and there are Quad Pack tickets in the lot as low as $20 if you look around.

    Couple pics from yesterday

There are lines off the top that go, the new snow is deceptive up high and covers a lot of grass, dirt, rock.

Not sure if still in effect but they didn't want people hiking above reverse traverse last wknd. I ignored the signs and made it to the top before getting a talking to from patrol, something about ops are still ongoing and they re taking down the patrol shack. Pretty lame considering the bottom was chopped up mank and top was 4" if creamy pow. They were cool about it at least.

For a place with a pretty good uphill policy they can be shitty about hiking when upper lifts are closed are closed. Been turned around 5 or 6 times with no signage or anything in the report saying no hiking.

The uphill policy is only good when there are lift holds for the most part or as a local. Otherwise it is pretty restrictive.

Very foggy now. Still snow when I drove by yesterday but patchy. Was fun on Tuesday. You could hike up and just go sledding on tramway. Front 5 especially Gary had enough to link some turns.
