Folks were clearly referring to the Middlebury Ski Bowl when talking about the gnar.

So is that right at the bottom of the road lookers left coming into town power line with the gas station down the road on the left? I’ve eyed that for years but hard to imagine it ever being in.

No that line is too overgrown . I'm not sure if anything would stick there anyway , every time there is heavy sleet it literally rolls down and blocks there driving lane on Rt 209 .
There is a line behind the beer distributor although I haven't hiked it . I got permission from the land owner up top but understand the beer distributor owns 400' uphill. I got busy with enough other places .

The line I'm talking about is visible from the Bagel Bunch restaurant ,It's a little further south on Rt 209. It's on the East side of the river . We skinned 2.5 miles up from Weissport on the canal path .
There are 4 gullies that face West, I haven't explored the Northern most one, the next one ends in a 10ft cliff the two South ones are do able .There is a 10' high rock spine that divides the last two . Freaking cool hike (Crawl) . The line is Click image for larger version.

My friends from Vt called me Jersey Dave. There was already Tele Dave, Toe Clip Dave, and Round Face Dave. I think I'm less Jersey than most, but I'm not ashamed. Jersey Pride. Grew up hitting the mighty Poconos for night-skiing. Some how i still like skiing after that...

Models are finally starting to hone in on a good cold snap the weekend of October 25th. As it looks now it would be substantial enough for all of the early season players to open, probably Sunday for those that can do so with only 24-36 hours of production. Of course this is still a ways out so timing and intensity subject, but we haven't seen anything like this yet.

There is an outside chance Killington could put some down this weekend after a bit of high elevation snow, but it is marginal, and would be extremely elevation dependent.

Killington. This Friday for passholders. They can put down the needed snow in about 24 hours of sustained below freezing temps.

Any word on the Ski and Ride card this year? Worth every penny last year.

Any other links to some 2for1 or discount tickets?
