    NE Roll Call 18/19

As good as Saturday was, today was better. Best itís been in weeks actually. They pushed a metric shit-ton of snow onto Prestonís, it made all the difference. It was pretty much leftover World Cup yellow ice, with random bumps, ugly. They buried it last night, first runs were 30mph GS turns through 5Ē of fast corn, so much fun. And all that snow turned into nice tight, soft and round bumps.
What a great scene up there again, VTfree, Goniff, GiS, and all the KZoners. Great folks to ski and party with! Worked on hands today and pulling my feet back after impact, huge difference in speed control. I always forget how much I love slush bumps. Canít wait for next weekend, lift served turns in June!

The snowfields did not disappoint today. We got a few laps in before heading to bail so as to be responsible adults this afternoon, but the morning was beautiful.Click image for larger version.

Good one and vibes, but it sounds like you don't have it too bad...thought you may have been a bump coach which was the reason for the call out..

    The snow fields look awesome...

Clicked on the SStar webcam a bit ago,†half expecting to see someone coming down...
not a tree moving, not a persons head wandering...thought It wasn't even live until one lone bird flew by
    kind of a surreal scene...

the weather for next Sat which is almost pointless to bring up so early looks good for a†June 1 day
If it weren't for serendipity, there'd be no dipity at all

I think so, but I'm questioning everything at the moment. I got some new CBD tincture from MA and it's a 1-to-1 CBD-THC. My last batch was 18-to-1. This is bit more off a buzz than I expected this morning.

I just realized I left my blue merino hoodie on the traffic cone in front of the kzone. Anyone grab that by chance? Two weeks in a row Iíve left it there, fucking edibles!

The Hatter has it and will bring it next Saturday. I have most of the rest of the lost and found from the weekend.

My bud was in the GG lot having a beer when a guy barely rolls over the ruts in his mustang. Has a classic 'american muscle' sticker across the top windshield and says, "its my first time up here, where's Tuckermans?"

Thanks. The ridgeline looked it, but for some reason, it didn't seem to have enough depth, but the pic is from far away and a bit blurry.

And Banned sent me a text to tell me anyway. Yeah, he's a lurker.

Love staying at the bunkhouse! I really wanted to come up for slackfest but my kids vetoed it. Didn't want to drive the hour from Franconia and just wanted to enjoy the warmth. We did play in the snow on Cannon and did a ton of mountain biking. Weather looked perfect. We also hiked up to the base of THE ZONE but stayed on the main trail. Wow that is gnarly rocky rooty without the snow! One really cannot tell there is a whole playground up that way.

And if anybody grabbed my black turtle fur beanie a couple of weeks ago, I would gladly pay in excellent VT beers if you would bring it on Saturday. Hopefully in GIS' pile...
