Heavy heavy chowdah this morning over by Camels Hump. Needed some skin wax and wax wax... Both up and down were slow and sticky. Still, gorgeous bit of exercise... bummed to see some five-toed kook jong'ing up my skintrack, though!!

Supercomps fell off due to the unnatural selection of how crappy they were.

I'll agree that crappy skiers can't ski.

What happened was too many alpine skiers crossed over and they make that T1 plastic thing so people could make alpine turns easier on tele gear. True tele turn was lost forever.

    NE Roll Call 18/19

Skye Peak, Kballs, VT was the scene of many enormous, off-axis-y, stomped insano-bombs today. None by me, of course, but I saw many long haired and mustachioed shredders hu-cking this afternoon. Smeary, often grabby, but very fun turns after the rain today- but things have definitely been thinned out a bit down here in south central.

On the road for a nostalgia ski weekend to Turin, NY. I Learned to ski there and we’re taking my mom who turns 79 today back for the weekend to hit the ridge, visit with old friends and après at whatever the Candlelight is called now.

Don’t me mistaken there, Joey. I have done it.

Asolo Extremes were a much better boot. You could still kick and glide in them as well as carve a turn.
