Micro pow day at the local bump... the missus and I took the little lady and traded laps. The report of 1-2” was pretty accurate. The ascent was formidable...

    And the descents were pleasant...

Finishing up a kitchen remodel yesterday and found this Owl hanging at the feeder. Spotted it 5' away walking to my truck, watched me while I pulled my phone out to take a photo. Hung around an hour or so and didn't flinch as I walked by a half dozen times. Don't know if it caught anything but when I noticed it was gone the owl was replaced the regular pair of Cardinals. They were nervous as fuck, grab a couple of sunflower seeds, move to branch, head on a swivel looking for death, repeat.
Must be tough with the deep snowpack.

Have I got this correct? I only save $10 by buying the Killington Spring Pass by Friday?

Also, since this gets loaded on a RFID card, who's to tell if I let my friend borrow it to go skiing?

Spent the weekend getting trained how to lead outdoor outings for veterans as part of a Sierra Club program on the backside of Sugarbush/MRG. No skiing saturday/sunday but gorgeous views from that side!

Skied the 'bush yesterday mostly solo, fun few inches on firm snow below. Second time on skis this season (MAN ski boots are stiff!), fun to get back out there but switched it up to the snowboard for the afternoon and "trained" for Tuckermans by skiing steep icy moguls all afternoon. Seems like the woods have softened up though, skinning for some glades should be fun the rest of this week.

Also, I'll have it known I had chili for lunch AND took a photo of it, but my shitty burner phone won't connect with my email so you've just have to believe me.

Can't even buy a 4 of decent beer with that Hamilton.

As it's a pass I would expect a picture to be taken.

Yeah, not much incentive to purchase in advance.

The One Pass card I bought in October says it's reloadable so I assume I don't have to pay another $5 for one with my photo on it.

    Ditto, love the nature pics.

We have a nesting pair of those barred owls on our property. They are up all night hollering esp in the spring. Unlike some other owls that just go "hoot hoot," barred owls make crazy noises, usually at 2AM when you're trying to sleep.

Please note that this daring descent was made sans oxygen tanks. A first, by my reckoning.

I’ve done that. More than once.

Why not, I’ve skied trails that look a hell of a lot worse...!

No judgement from this guy. I hopped a snowbank back to the car a few weeks ago, scraped a bunch of buried gravel on the way down, put a nice groove pattern in my base. #wereallgapers

Your pic gets taken when you go through the first gate and comes up on computer at the lift - they probably have your photo on record from when you first used card. It's going to be a great Spring - don't miss it
