We tried the untracked woods but up high led to an uncontrollable slide and down low was dust on breakable popcorn crust.

Can we start the snow dances for Sunday?
Nothing like the Brom sun on a cold day. Jealous. Sunday night looking good. You may want to be 10 miles due east from this locale on Monday

Congrats DW on the new addition! Enjoy every moment as time flies... Ours are now 12 and 15. The wife and I are headed out this weekend on our first vacation alone together in 15 years (kids are staying at friends house for the week). It feels like we are being born again so I share your stoke. Enjoy!

    Congrats DW!
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

They do look nice. Couple warm spring days and they may actually open. Saw someone poached the .5 slide today

Hoyt’s was open today. Not too bad, a little sketchy in some of those double fall line places.

Might have to watch out for tower debris over there.

Stoke in here has been back to the levels of old again, nice job all. Wish I had more to contribute but havent been documenting much this year, been too good a lot of the time.

And congrats DW! Hope you actually took a few days off from work to enjoy!

The little guy in the shark helmet and camo pants is my 9 year old. He doesn’t have the same confidence as his older brother, but it’s definitely fun watching him try to keep up!

Hopefully a few years down the road they will be leaving Dad in the dust!

Super nice day at Stowe yesterday. Seemed like it was just me and my crew, and Benny I assume. All lifts spinning, who’d a thunk?

Snow was great, people were cool. Stopped to take a piss. Stayed for the view.

That was more involved than I thought. Old binders are so much better than the new ones though. Had the shop put an edge on that board and my old G3 skis last night. Today will be retro day, sidewaze and straightwaze.

Upclose and personal like. Super chalky windbuff in the backside snowfields. Really, really fun terrain, albeit not a ton of it.

The Jerry quotient up there was staggering. And to theassclown on the TELEBOARD who hit the Bottlewoman in the snowfields - time to find a new mode of downhill travel.

There are actually a bunch of exceptional tele guys and gals up here but what impressed most are the folks carving the shit out this snow on snowboards. My teleboard stance has been forever altered - they are no longer a unicorn like breath of fresh air. This fucker was a menace.
