PSA: Chris Cornell is alive and well...He is bumping chairs at Jay Peak!
Our best guess is that he’s been living on Powder, Poutine & Québécois hotties while hiding out in the NEK.
My friend put it best “He looks Happy!”
Wishing you peace and happiness CC!

Nice stoke ya’ll with pocket cams, bc pond hockey and of course soup! - soup, ahhh soup - soul nourishment.
Conditions are good. Heard a patroller on Monday bootlipping because a tourist ripped him a new one for nothing. Heard another tourist claim a table with under-the-table boot bags.
Back to m-1 heckling for not straight lining the head wall. We take

Skied Magic for the first time last saturday after trying to get there for a few years. Every time I would plan something it would rain, or thaw...
And sure enough, friday night, it rained a little at Magic - a lot at Manchester where we were staying... - but we went for it.
First hour or so we were pretty bummed. The west side was teeth chattering, frozen marbles. The groomers were beautiful, but the good stuff sucked.
Then we tried redline and Gonnif glade, and they were great - super soft. Red line and the trail skiers left of it were a little thin, but so soft... Skied that area the whole day. Must have skied red line 6 times. Had a blast.
Can't understand how those trails were soft. Others at the same elevation were frozen, and black line has a similar aspect, was also ice.
Anyway, what a great place...

We committed to the place and would ski it thick and thin. And there is some thin. Was tired of the rat race at so many places I used to frequent. Instead of driving all over I focused on the best thing to do at the mountain that day. It helped that people are so friendly there and so much fun to ski with. We were starting a family and a home base also helped with kids naps and stuff. Fantastic place for kids. Anyway it's very easy to get hooked there!

Today's soup is "sweet and sour cabbage." I'll spare you the actual soup photos but if I do perhaps indulge I would happily share the aftermath
