Rides great for some stuff. Makes your bike feel full rigid for other stuff. Costs 50% more than a Fox 40 with a custom tune.
How did it not catch on?

So what do the people do that purchased one of these monstrosities, they wouldn't even let shops service these things.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

They've got a suspension shop in SLC handling all repairs and service, luckily the service interval is very high so those that bought dont have to send the fork in often. Sucks, some really good folks out of work. Thats the risk with startups in any industry i guess.

I mean, COVID notwithstanding, this was predictable. Limited advantage over telescoping forks in *some* parameters, clear disadvantages in others. Ugly as fuck which, for better or worse, is a hudge factor for many. Heavy, expensive, primitive damping, and double the price of a top of the line telescoping fork (if you get a deal, haha).
I applaud their effort but unfortunately they're a victim of drinking their own kool-aid on this one. As conceived, it was always a real long shot. There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

I’m surprised. I see these all over. Maybe they sold a higher percentage here in Utah? Still haven’t tried one.

Not dead yet: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/are-sp...kage-fork.html
This made me chortle a little:
Finally, the patent suggests the fork may be particularly suited to e-bikes, so perhaps that's where the fork will end up, if we ever see it: "E-bikes are heavier and faster than typical mountain bikes. They are usually piloted by less skilled and less fit riders, and require a stronger front suspension to handle normal riding conditions... The beneficial caster effect described above with respect to the disclosed wheel suspension assemblies is an important improvement over traditional wheel suspension assemblies and reduces some of the drawbacks of E-bikes."

HAHAHAHAHA that is amazing and made me laugh.
This guy just can’t stop trying to force this on the market. If he was still around during the pandemic he may have actually sold a bunch of them
