Dog has issues walking down hall starting in the fall
So I have a yellow lab and hardwood floors. Every year around this time of year when she tries to walk the hallway she acts as if the floor is either gone/can’t see it or it a floor of demons. It is sort of funny but also sad. I can get her to walk down it but have to really encourage her or walk with her, even then she’s very apprehensive.
I’m guessing it has to do with the angle in which the sun is in the sky since she doesn’t have this issue starting in about May through sept.
The sun also does not contact this hall.

Just the Fall, or through Winter into Spring when things warm up again?

Maybe it's the creepy Halloween decorations you put up?

Have you had his eyes checked by a competent vet? I say "competent" because it is appalling how poor most vets are when it comes to eyes. Lenticular sclerosis or rentinal degeneration are possibilities. How is he with bright lights on, or in near dark? Have you tried putting down some throw rugs to improve footing? Have you thought about CBD oil and a bag of Doritos?
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot
