Back for the second year, - what was one of the largest whitewater events in Canada in 2004.

August 18 - 21 2005

Like last year we have loads of events going on: creeking clinics, play boating clinics, beginner lessons, guided trips, canyon hikes, float trips, guided beginner, intermediate and expert paddling runs, a variety of river and creeks all nearby, a spectacular camping location at the foot of incredible glaciers, and a host of volunteers running the event.

We have even more sponsors this year, and loads of prizes to give away.

This is an all inclusive event, and your entry fee gets you: a t-shirt, shuttles for the weekend, a meal on Saturday night, camping for the weekend, guided trips on the locals streams, a gear swap for selling your old gear and more !

We have a river impacts presentation on the issues facing our area rivers, raft trips for non-paddlers, guided nature hikes, a throw bag showdown competition, a boatload of rivers to choose from, and local experts to lead people on the river.

Last year this was a central event for our efforts to fight the power project proposed for the river - we defeated that, for now, and we want to keep this event growing, and ensure the river runs free.

All the event proceeds go to our river conservation efforts in BC - and you can make a difference just by coming out to paddle.

Check out the web site, and mark your calendars !
