Yeah, and five inch car speakers, which is how 90% of pop music was transmitted.

“Venus” was on our high school cafeteria jukebox. Playing it signaled the start of a food fight. The actual fight would begin at the first chorus (“she got it!”) leaving a reaosnable amount of time for non-combatants to exit before the festivities.

    Good times

    Carry on

Phil Spector, wall of sound, mixed in the studio on shitty speakers just so it sounded good on your shitty car speakers!

It makes me happy that you shared that you thought that was a guy singing that

Yes. I'm pretty sure she gave a lot of guys a chub back then. That is not the same song they just found.

Splat you should go cheer him up. Let him know he would have been miserable with that singer. She was most likely screwing her manager, if not the lead guitarist.

My freshman year college roommate was a "one true love guy." He was dating his HS gf who was one year younger and he would spend a week making her a mixtape which he would mail home. Never went out to meet other girls. I ran into him a year later on campus and asked how his gf was. She was apparently banging some other dude her senior year and now attending college 3000 miles away on the west coast. Poor dude wasted his entire freshman year.

Right, that song we don't know the name of.
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.
