Work on patrol = first tracks, and get paid to duck ropes and laugh at gapers.

Hang Yak Trax Ski Trax off cable lock on railing at base lodge and just grab them on the way back to the car after skiing.

Super cold day, forgot to scrape the fucking wax, hard wax. Used the edge of ski one to scrape ski 2 and vice versa. Worked very well. With universal or warm wax I just ski it off. Cold wax takes longer to do that..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

    - Boot bags are rad.
    - Check you fucking binding mount screws every season.
    - Buy a proper posi driver for all binding work.
    - Buy more skis than you "need".
    - If you want to ski freshies, learn to tour.
    - A gummi stone in the pocket can cure a lot of ills. From detuning tips, to taking off a burr you missed.
    - Drink pocket beers early. Smashing them into your ribs hurts.
    - Toe warmer on back of cell phone == no battery death.
    - A small platypus water bottle in the pocket beats dumb camelbacks.
    - If you can't ski well, you should at least look steezey.

Start the day hydrated, well-fed, and with warm boots.

Also, look further down the mountain than 10 feet in front of you. There may be VW size avy boulders 100 feet further.

kidney belt so my back doesn't hurt at the end of the day. pre rolled joints so you're not fumbling around dropping a bowl on the chair and an extra lighter and a couple of power bars so you can skip lunch. https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Light...44663628&psc=1
