the visual inspection only also doesn't really help. wouldn't be easy to know where anything is, it appears quite a few people have missed their planned features already

Nice solid run for Berkeley
Personally I felt Eder was pretty much out of control. Arms waving back seat but super fast and aggressive
Judging is hard
Not a lot to work with on venue

they probably were afraid Tanner would quit if they scored him poorly the first venue. maybe with a tantrum.
Aymar had a really unique line, that triple was burly.
Kye's line was meh, looked really loose/sloppy and he basically skied the same line as everyone else. Very little fluidity at the bottom too.

You can never take a judged event too seriously. It is far to personal a thing. It is more about enjoying the display. The top names will always score a bit higher because they bring the money.

Fun to watch. I can't imagine trying to throw tricks or hit those micro landing zones on a visual inspection only, big props to all who skied.
One of my favorite parts was that drone shot following Thing 2 right out the gate, you don't really get a sense of speed from the long range shot the usually film. Dude was haulin'.
Aymar did have a pretty unique line, thought that was pretty sick. I agree Tanner was a bit loose, but you have to reward the fact that he pretty much threw a trick off every hit he took.
The guy who took 3rd (pfeifer bro?) seemed to ski fast through the whole thing, which I found impressive considering he was basically last to drop into cut up snow.
Do they factor in the prior tracks? Do judges realize that you might have to improve a bit more if you drop last due to prior tracks/bombs?

Tanner was loose but also did a lot of nice tricks and really got a lot out of that face.
Venue is a little too micro IMO, forcing everyone to pick their way around more than we're accustomed to seeing.
