    No, BA doesn't have many of those anyhow to my understand.

    This is due to Denver being hit with what will likely be winds in the 100kmph range this afternoon, causing blizzard conditions. Most airlines have already canceled their flights.

    Flying out of Denver on 0218? If so, PM me and we can exchange #s in case one of us figures out a way through the mess.

    I don't know doebedoe's (doubledeer?) itinerary but his challenge is that a blizzard in forecast for Denver and the airport has all but closed.

    Probably a good place to remind people that https://flightaware.com/ is a better source of information than your airline or airport.

    Hev and I are in the same situation. Hopefully we get it sorted. Who knows.

    Would be rad to have a mag to get stoked with along the way.

    Youll need google translate, but chiming in as the local weather nerd: You may hit it quite nicely next week. If you arrive before sat: Get the dump, but stay high (giggle) because of the warm spike. cold pow will come mon/tue.

    The future Mrs. and I are in as well.

    @Vendul - I expect we'll be arriving at your place between 2000 - 2200 on Monday night.

    Unrelated, but I noticed this morning I had WhatsApp notifications turned off. I opened the app and noticed I had been booted from the group.

    Nice!

    After too much work fuckery including a cancelled trip, I actually will be attending. Just got a cheap Friday night flight to Frankfurt and a hotel down the valley from Venduls for 19th - 22nd then no real commitments for the weekend, just gotta get to Italy on Tuesday. Looks like I have a ton of reading to do about gear, tickets, insurance, etc.

    Anyone heading out of SEA able to carry a shovel for me? I'm not certain I can fit it in my bags for the return flight without paying a bunch extra.

    Going to airport was a mistake today. But I ran into some friends I hadn't seen in a while who were also stranded and we managed to make the best of our miseries.

    Hev and I should be a day later than intended -- flying out tomorrow.

My boots are compatible with both traditional alpine and dynafit so I think I am set there.
    Late to this so sorry if I missed more details, but you can't get 2 pair in 1 ski bag? I almost always rolled with 2 pair to Yurp, even with new born twins in a double wide stroller! The weight was always per bag too. I believe they usually gave you a "boot" bag and a ski bag which counted as 1 bag and then I had a duffel for my 2nd checked bag.

    Bag guidelines say one pair of skis but it's always by weight.
