Amer Sports (Atomic, Salomon) has a factory in Chepelare, Bulgaria. AFAIK it is one of their largest facilities.

Did they move everything from Elan? I was thinking they just moved the Ren, Raven and InThayne to Canada

all of my regular touring skis from last year are made in europe (down, movement, trab) and I'm adding this season L120s (USA) and another pair of downs. so I guess mostly in yurp.

I'm still looking for the graph.

    Also, I don't see 333......

edit: I just realized this could be called an "existential graph" even though there aren't clearly defined axes, so my bad....

Völkl still makes their stuff in Germany. At least their good stuff. There were a few Chinese years where the quality really suffered so they went back home.
Some Salomons must still be made in France, right?
Also, Nordicas have been coming out of the Blizzard factory since Tecnica bought it about a decade ago. Not sure if there's any "race room" production in the old factories of Nordica, Dynastar, etc.
Also seems like some Swiss stuff was left out.
    No longer stuck.

Faction also uses NBL Sport, Loxie (another factory in Poland) and Atomic for some of their skis. Black Crows also uses Elan for a number of models.

I have a pair of 2017 confessions that were made in Germany, some 2018 V Werks BMT 109 made in Germany and some 2018 bashes made in China but 'engineered in Germany'

Consensus seems to be that their high end stuff with metal / carbon is made in Germany and the rest of the stuff is made in China.

One article I read on the internet went so far as to say that everything from the ski could be assembled somewhere else and then they could just slap the top sheet on in Germany and say made in Germany. Yes I know I'm using shit on the internet I have no idea if it's true but volkl bash 116 do say made in China engineered in Germany so their China plant is still kicking

For what it's worth I have owned a couple pairs of vokll ones made in China engineered in Germany) I love that ski more than I like the confessions or V Works katanas I had

Besides the letdown of feeling duped I think they have got over the Original hiccups they had in China

But in the future I will just be going with Praxis and On3p Lithic moment once I save up some more money. Unfortunately I can get the big brands super cheap.

Åre Ski Factory in Åre, Sweden manufacture some of RMU's skis (Apostle,Rippah and YLE according to https://www.instagram.com/extremhakan/?hl=nb ), as well as SGN skis, Stereo skis as well as their own brand of skis - Extrem skis. Evi skis are made in their own factory in Norway.

Yeah, all of these are relatively small ski brands for sure, but a lot of people in good old Scandinavia use em and they all make killer skis as far as i know

Pretty wild how much RMU has had to spread their production around to get their skis made. NeverSummer, then Utopie, then Moment, Extrem, and Blizzard.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

I wonder if this list was compiled to compliment the new tariffs that are going into effect. I saw a bike shop put out a parts and bike list recently to show how much items are about to increase in price
