    I dunno.

As late as 2012, I think Nobis was still all about strong flat tails, with decent heaviness, because I think he was a sponsored athlete for WhiteDot in 2012, along with Fred Syversen, promoting the 2012 Ragnarok XII 193cm 143/120/130 R=37m.

I doubt Nobis would feel limited much by today's 2019 Blizzard Bodacious 196cm, even with its subtle rocker. Surely he could also get a decent film segment on 2019 Volkl Confession 193cm, especially because today's ski film industry (whose success he helped to build) now has higher budgets and should be able to better afford to cherry-pick just the hero-condition days for filming...so filmmakers shouldn't really need Nobis to ski "like Nobis" in sketchy conditions on weak ski models. On that note, do ANY ski movies nowadays ever show skiers getting rad in nasty conditions?

    Some good points!

I still watch La Liste and marvel. Such good skiing.

196cm Bodacious, sort of. Much more forgiving than the old LP's or any long, normal camber race construction midfat.

Would love to have a couple of quiet days at Craigieburn with my ProRiders, #4 heavy core RXs, and the Bodacious.

They were 196cm. Those were great skis.

There was a minty (undrilled?) pair in gear swap not that long ago. 194cm?? Found it:

He's skiing on a new pair of Dynastars from 2004. He probably had like 15 pairs just ready to go when the next one gets old.

Reeal fun skis. More user friendly than the 194s, maybe a bit softer in the tip. My goto spring ski.

Eh, the 196 Bodacious are about as burly as the old 186 Stockli Stormrider DPs, and easier to ski. Any older 190+ race room midfat is far more burly.

I think SiSt and geo would just need to make a wider SD105,then call it quits.
