One of the Canucks? Good luck to him. Paradise Bowl was probably the best I saw last weekend. Summit pretty fun too until I hammered my body onto some hidden rocks... Looks like a little snow if the forecast tomorrow. No ins on cheap tickets unfortunately.

It was a serious math workout, given we have castle passes and I'll be skiing sugarbush one day in Dec (if there's snow). Thanks for the tips at LL and the MC reminder.

Eric retired, Manny down for the count.

Good luck the Ben. Solid kid.

Haven’t looked but which other Canadian men in it? Eric and Jeffrey Read? I think in home country some of the development team kids get in. I met the Seger brothers last year at the Panorama Nor-Ams. They look like the real deal as well.

    Looking forward to watching Saturday.

Doesn't sound like any public skiing from what my kid said, to many racers on the mountain.

Fernie will be opening on Saturday with Timber, White Pass, Elk and Bear. Downloading on both Elk and Timber will be an option.

Good to hear. Castle seems to be a ways off yet, 28cms at the plot means they need some storms.

    Yah bitches!

    https://kickinghorseresort.com/blog/...n-new-terrain/
Dialing up for this coming winter, Kicking Horse’s new terrain includes the legendary Ozone South face (made famous as the competition venue for last year’s Freeride World Tour event) and Middle Ridge, offering fantastic turns into both Feuz Bowl and the adjacent Rudi’s Bowl. This is Canada’s BIGGEST expansion in skiable terrain – a loud and large 660 acres of new, rowdy skiing! 660 acres that embody what Kicking Horse represents: adventurous terrain offering challenges to all skiers and riders.
To access Ozone, skiers and riders will hike up to Whitewall, ski/ride down to the saddle and hike up to the top of the face. For Middle Ridge, a dedicated bootpack will head up from the bottom of Feuz Bowl. Big rewards will be available to those happy to do a little hiking!
Like all of our existing terrain, these features will be opened and closed at the discretion of our Mountain Safety team, allowing for the necessary avalanche control to be completed so that we can all play safely!

FYI, Two-jack lake is NOT thick enough for skating yet.

On the other hand, there’s only a couple people swimming today, so there’s no crowd!

OK, MOST of the lake is FINE for skating. Some ice that was thick is now less thick, with a few mntliob sided holes in it too.

If the lethbridge weather station is to be believed, Castle requires a few feet of miracles between now and December 15th.

Don’t know if 10 runs opening by Dec. 1st at Fernie is good news but better than nothing, which is what we have at Kimbo.
