    Mac Miller rest easy

    https://www.rollingstone.com/music/m...-at-26-720756/

So, I’ve never listened to this guy. Reading this article, he seemed very interesting and I’ll give his music a listen to for sure.

A shame that artists seem to go so often. And young.

    Rest easy Mr Mac

A good place to start, IMHO, is with his mixtapes. I found them to be much better than the stuff he commercially released...

And, while not hugely into dude, I always dug his cut "Senior Skip Day" if only for the line about putting scrambled eggs on his waffle when he found out he didn't have any syrup. I loved the creative epicurean decision and just the simplicity and inventiveness of including that in his rhyme. The song also made me nostalgic for high school and the realization that I never once skipped out on classes...

+1 on the mixtapes. K.I.D.S. and Best Day Ever were my favorites. My IG feed is full of Mac tributes today.

My kids introduced me to him a long time ago now. He was one of the new kids I enjoyed listening to. This situation leading up to his death is such a bummer. RIP

I dunno...when I was a kid, I recall friends using whippets, keyboard cleaner, huffing, and robo-ing...and Get Off My Lawn codgers yelling "WTF is up with kids today."

That stuff wasn't my jam, but it was around.

I'm over 50 so it was more like sniffing glue, which I never really did. Rush or Locker room, which is butal nitrate, came around after a trip to NYC. Ya, whippets, too.It was more like acid, shrooms, ludes and coke. Brown weed and Lowenbrau. I'm just saying, who drinks cough medicine and sprite, to get a buzz ? You can get seizures, evidently. A friends kid just passed away at 24 and still not sure how it happened but by the looks of his instagram, it may have been a combo of pills and lean but I don't know yet. The kid was from Lexington, net exactly the rough side of town. Tragic. My heart aches for his parents. They're good people. It was an "accident", that's all I know . That's how we got talking about the Lean

My son seems to think that he had a good shot to win album of the year.

It's my son. He writes beats for a few rappers in the 305. Mac Miller is his favorite, except maybe Kendrick Lemar.

    I trust his judgement

not a fan but knew who he was. I'll listen to anything that a music friends deems worthy. Talent is talent, regardless of genre. The kid had talent. Tragic

Granted, The Mirror and The Sun are tabloid-styled news outlets, but they name-drop Miller and write about how "Lean" and the like are sweeping the U.K.

All these articles are saying Lean is an "over the counter" drug concoction. Where can you get liquid codeine cough syrup over the counter? Seriously I want to know so I can get some.
