I ended up picking these up for a little less than listed. Emailed him and found out these are heavy core #5. They have seen some use for sure, but still a lot of life left in them. I have been thinking about this exact core and flex customization for two years, and this saved me a bunch of money.

I think they will work out. They dont have a ton of camber height, but they do have lots of tip rocker, and barely any sidecut. If I do like em’ I’ll ski em till they die and customize a new pair based on what I’d keep or change with the 5 flex.

If they dont work out, they already have a buyer!

I expect a full review compared to the RX, please! I'm really curious about the MVP or RX for a touring ski next season.

OoOo No, all you guys telling me not to buy anymore skis dont get to see the review..

Just Kidding. I need you guys. I really need Gear Addiction Therapy. Someone should start a gear therapy thread..I have a serious problem.

I’m for serious now though, this is my last ski purchase until 2019. Its all for research purposes, it’s for you guys.

I think there used to be a thread *why not to buy skis* but I can never find it, may have just dreamt it or it’s possible it was on Epic

I just dont get what makes me want 10 pairs of skis every year. Its like a genetic component that compels me to go for shiny new gear.

Materialism isnt even that strong with me or my family. Just gearism..

Luckily I have been selling a lot of stuff, and only about 20% is going to ski gear

    Thought 10% was your benchmark.

I feel like you're making small changes and putting more $$ towards savings
