    Agreed.

Though I'm curious... was this near Mendoza, or Las Lenas? They're like 400km apart...

Ok. Vallecitos area, or elsewhere? I wanted to poke around up there in the summer when we visited a few years ago... settled for asado and malbec instead.

Huge hills outside of Mendoza... fkn big relief. Kinda too bad it's so goddamn dry... could have 4000m descents if it snowed down below the vallecitos ski center regularly (and if the high stuff wasn't blasted).

    Post up some more, please.

We started out heading up towards Aconcagua but the snow was quite sparse (not even the lifts at the small ski fields were running) so we headed back down to the city and then on to Las Lenas. From there we stayed in Los Molles where did several tours around the area including out from the top lift in Las Lenas on Cerro Torrecillas which are the prominent spires in the video. We also did a few tours on Cerro Las Lenas itself which is opposite the resort. We did a lot more in region near a place called Cajon Grande (which has natural hotpools!) but that is in the next video which I will post up with a report soon.

No. We rented a Hilux in Mendoza and did a 3000km summer road trip through northern Patagonia, looping Rutas 40, 23, 21. Spent Christmas at Villa Traful and New Year's in Malargue. Scoped Cerro Catedral, Las Lenas, San Martin... fished the Alumine and a few lakes... etc. Want to return in winter.
