Instead; a long time maggot of the 2-legged variety will re-appear after a long Ullrfest hiatus

WW, You're welcome to join me, but I'm leaving from outside of Boston (Concord) fairly early Saturday, but not coming back from VT until later Monday afternoon. You'd have to figure out another ride home on Sunday.

I'm also bringing my pig roasting security guard to keep the riff-raff at bay and to see that no bits of bacon go to waste.

Yeah, this is getting a little weird.

I know the weather is going to suck but what does the group think about relocating up the hill to near the Black Chair? DoWork says we can get electrons from the lifty shack. Seems like we have enough canvas to cover everything. I can't really complain too much because the mountain has been a gracious host for years but, mixing what the mountain has planned with what we want to do seems incongruous.

OTOH if everyone is OK with mixing things up, I can adapt and deal with the changes.

^^^VT-F and I have already voted to be up on the hill, but I think Chef Bruce is the arbiter of all things...location wise.

I’m bringing the long extension cord so that gives us 250’ radius from the shack as well as a spare pop up tent.

With a kid in college you can't drink Balvenie 21 every night. Have to budget and remember.... World Series is at least four games.

At the risk of sounding like a Kirkland scotch drinking pussy, I have to say, the thought of standing around up on the hill during what is going to be one of the coldest, wettest, and windiest days this year is about as appealing as standing around up on a hill during what is going to be one of the coldest, wettest, and windiest days this year.

As much as I'd like to test my foul weather gear (which works fine, thx) I'd also like to relax and enjoy the fine company of maggots, some pork, the Red Sox and maybe even a nice Kirkland scotch. Why can't we morph these two events and have the traditional Ullrfest out on the deck, but then go inside to enjoy the band and festivities. It looks like Magic has already incorporated Ullrfest into the evening, so we could return the favor. I have a feeling turnout is not going to break records this year, and as they say, the more the merrier...

BD speaks with the voice of reason methinks.

We'll set up the canopies on the deck and make the best of it.

No sleeping in the lodge tho.

Peruvian has a pretty nice spread and I'm sure Mrs. Peruvian would love to have us there next year.

Awesome! This means his current spread will be on "For Sale by Owner" and we can party down in a Frat house!

StayAlert: Pig cooking box + 2 thermometers + stainless prep table + enough charcoal to cook a pig + Hollow log(s) + 5 station shot ski + STOKE

Weather channel says mix of rain and snow with a high of 34 tomorrow, with 3 to 5 inches of snow; https://weather.com/weather/today/l/225:11:US

Should be a couple more inches higher up.
