Not exactly on topic but generally….Billy Failing sat in with yonder mountain string band last night in Denver and we caught it in the free Nugs stream.

I’m not a fan of post Jeff yonder and haven’t really enjoyed much from that band in the Allie Kral era, but she’s gone now and ooooooooh boy - last nights snow was extremely good. Jason Carter on the fiddle and Billy failing played most of the set. They did a bunch of Jeff songs and the music was satisfying and conjured some hetty jam grass vibes.

    Check it out!

They’re doing a 4 night run in PC in March. Great band. I gotta get this figured out.

    Wow. Egyptian theatre!

That’s hilarious. I could tell a tale about when I became a Pharaoh and purchased hundreds of tickets for moe. 3 nights in march of 2020 only to have the shows cancelled and my temporary Pharaoh-ness rendered all but useless for the duration.

Got my 2 GA tickets for Thursday 2/2 in Broomfield

I’ll be with my daughter at her first “real” show.

    Fkn stoked.

Jealous of those of you who get to see the whole 3-day run, but I have obligations over the weekend

So excited. His NYE shows in NOLA were fkn sick.

Man that was a rip last night!! They had the1st bank center hopping! Physco into ride me high was a melter. Wish I could have seen all three night as set lists were solid! They do a great job filling the bigger venues. Light rig rocks!!

I know I’m a fan boy but I feel like they just keep getting better. Transitions were so on point last night!

Stoked for more CO shows in the near future

I scored all three nights 1st bank when they went up for sale. Super excited with plans brewing then I tore my acl and meniscus.

5 weeks post op and ADA seating for the win! Was able to hobble my ass in every night and jam from a cushioned chair

    Go see Billy Strings!

I only was able to catch Thursday. Was up front, about 20’ from BillyF and Alex.

Fucking sick. They really are getting better and better. The depth of their talent and songs is really mind blowing.

I'm debating heading over to Chas for the Saturday show if I can't make ATL on Friday (coming back from PC that day and should probably do something responsible and all).

Let me know if you fly down, we can grab a drink or 5.

Went to a phish show a few weeks after I shattered my tibial plateau. Full
Knee brace with wrap and crutches. It was an interesting ordeal and a lot of extra work, but one I won’t forget.

I caught the last show of the mini euro tour in December. My first time seeing him, so good! He rocked a kilt for the second set and brought up some guest fiddle players. Click image for larger version.

ouch... hurts my leg just reading

I was on fence about trying to go but seeing Billy got my wife back out to see shows again. We use to hit alot of music but as things change in life her desire waned. She is hooked on Billy so once this leg a bit stronger, we are traveling to shows again.

Wifey got me this for my birthday. I Don’t have a ton of music art but really dig this one. It’s a 1/50 foil. And we were at the show, so means that much more. Next CO run will be here in no time!

I have never been there. But felt pressured to hurry and pick. Section 101.
