    Go see Billy Strings!

Had a chance to see this guys for the second time on Friday night at this awesome little place in Paradise Valley. Straight fucking heat. This band is doing their part to revitalize music as we know it. Been to many many many live shows and these guys bring next level energy. Haven't seen crowds get this wild in a long time.

    Recording from Friday's show.

Super intimate country outdoor venue. I had a pretty damn good spot on the rail aka 2 feet from the band and snagged a good picture.

Little video just released of them doing Billy's song Dust in a Baggie.

The often exploratory Turmoil and Tinfoil from a show this past April

Seriously, go see these guys ASAP.

I have heard of him, but this is the first listening I've done. Good stuff!

Sadly, they don't seem to ever tour west of the Continental Divide...

Bumping this in the hopes more people hear Billy Strings. He's coming to Squaw for WinterWonderGrass in March.

His sound guy livestreams every show here: http://mixlr.com/billy-streams/

Greensky should be opening for Billy Strings. No doubt. This band is swinging for the fences. Night after night. Way more talented technically than GSBG in my opinion.

    Calm down son.

Yes billy strings is awesome and up and coming. But they play 80% the same songs every night and they’re not quite “there yet”. Someday soon yes. But not quite....

That said, go see billy strings !

Pine Creek has a killer vibe and crowd too. It's called Paradise Valley for a reason. Looks like he's not coming to Targhee Bluegrass this summer, bummer.

Absolutely destroyed Pine Creek last week. I haven't seen a crowd that nuts for any band in many years. These guys are the fucking real deal. Dogs on stage, drunk ladies wading through the creek behind the stage, band absolutely tearing off faces, crowd going apeshit.....Pine Creek is the best venue.

The soundboard on nugs.net sounds way way better.
