Billy was the last live music I’ve seen since the pandemic. He played Snowbird’s Subaru Winterfest March 7, 2020. Hadn’t heard of him at the time, own several of his albums now.

Grammy award winner! A google street view of Muir shows how music saved Billy from boredom and bad paths.

    Home is a great album.
Saw him at one of the drive-in shows last fall. That's the only concert I've seen since a year ago Feb.

Nugs.net has been right on it getting these Strings shows loaded on the app with my subscription. Making my weekend garage Spring clean much more enjoyable.

Recording from the last 3 nights found in this thread:

Fire Line is one of the best new songs written in years. Home wins the Grammy and then these boys write new even better songs? Fuck yes.

I will cry tears of joy when I am back at Pine Creek dancing my ass off the BMFS.

I was on a long drive home from skiing a few weeks ago and I crested a small pass and was coming down the other side. Lots of virga streaming down in random places around the valley and the sun was hitting it all at a long, low angle. "Away From the Mire" came on and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Beautiful song.

    Go see Billy Strings!

Yeah, don’t get the hype. Hard pass on Billy Strings for me. I fucking hate the sound of a mandolin. Makes me want to grind my teeth. If I can’t dance to it, take a fucking lap.

Really, there’s no music that has mandolin that’s danceable? You seem closed minded and uptight.

There must be lots of music that you don’t like... or you’re just not a very good dancer.
