I’ve listened to the entire SCI w/ Billy show a few times now…

Agree on Billy’s tone with whatever pocket/envelope filter that he was putting his guitar through. Also Bill Nershi’s voice doesn’t lend itself to some of the Dead set (not that Jerry or Bobby have pure voices of angels either).

Its a good novelty show, but nowhere near the Billy and the Kids shows last summer… those will be king for a while I believe.

very cool some kitchen dweller members came on stage last night. caught KD in keystone last weekend and those guys fuckin rip, I'm hooked. Been listening to them for a while but a lot more lately. Tried to get my friend to go to these kettlehouse shows and visit missoula since we both went to UM and it would have been cool to go back for them but it just didn't work out with being sold out and his work. still need to check that venue out.

    stoked for renewal though!

Anyone going to be at Renewal this weekend? Wife and I will be kicking around. Riding bikes/fishing during the day.

Great venue. We had a blast last year

I'm there. Camping in Sturgeon. It was such a blast last year, I definitely couldn't miss it.

    Go see Billy Strings!

I’ll be there with a crew of bros. No wives or kids. Gonna melt face

Buck Moon campground. Look for the white pop top sportsmobile

We aren’t rolling in until Friday 4ish

I was at the Xfinity Center in MA for (I think) the first one of these last Thursday 9/16. Billy was smoking. Eventually I'm gonna have to learn the names of these songs. Willy was great too and they did that things with all the bands on stage with Billy picking a little, that was pretty nice. Not a big fan of the Avett Brothers so that was kind of a long break between Billy and Willy but whatever.

We will be in Harvest Moon, will try to get a spot close to the beach. Big tan van. Swing by for a beer or a smoke if your cruising the campground.

Last year they did a “surprise” Saturday afternoon set on the beach. Hoping for the same this year.

Stoked for a weekend of Billy and the boys!!!

Assuming the Renewal Revue set each night will just be tracks off the last album?

Agree with you 100%. I think with only 2 official BS sets each night, instead of three, these renewal review sets will be hoppin..

Scotty and the whole bonfire team did a great job with this festival the first year, (other than that Fences set…lol). Expecting them to knock it out of the park this year!

One more hour of work then hitting the road!! LFG!!!

phoff pulled a nice little picking session tonight according to the vid and text from a friend I got from the lot scene tonight.

Putting up a big ole batch of sausage and peppers for late night sammies. It's going to be great seeing friends I haven't bumped into in a long time.

Sierra Nevada is the official beer, so plan your sneek in beers appropriately. They have the whole range, but super pricey.

Why don't we do a mini? Meet at the hudge lifeguard chair at the pond at noon on Saturday? Bring change. Should be perfect timing for a little pop up like the picture I took above.
