For those of you that were talking about Bay Area skiing (Mt. Diablo, Mt. Tamalpais, etc), do not forget Mt. St Helena above Calistoga.
It tends to get snow now and then.
Plus there's an easy access hiking trail and then a service road, so it could yield decent rural suburban turns with a great view of the Napa Valley to boot.

I boot-skied it once some 23 years ago, fwiw.

FWIW, interwebz is reporting it got to -2 in Truckee last night/this morning. Guessing that's in Martis Valley by the airport (which is where I've heard they have a temperature guage).

Yesterday at squaw was, as advertised, one of those best kind of days. Reverse traverse provided the untracked, but sun going down at the end of the day on rockgarden was awesome. The snow and the granite and the rocks, tough to beat.

Stoke level is high in here right now! Love it!

Years ago I watched him line up a huge backflip off the top of Soul Searcher. Inspiring. Just sent it and stuck it.

Great day at Sugar Bowl, the bowl that keeps on giving. Skied the super soft deep pow off Lincoln in the morning and then Crow's nest when it opened in the afternoon. Some long-time locals on the lift told me this was the best pow in memory.
