    Today did not suck.

Spats, the splitters who laid that skin track either need some instruction from someone who understands efficient BC travel, or they should hit the crack pipe after rather than before the tour.

Fortunately there was a solo skinner just ahead of us today who occasionally got disgusted and set a track requiring a heel elevator (!) that we packed down for the late risers.
Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

U12 Far West Slalom race @ Sugar Bowl got cancelled after one run because conditions were nasty so I took my 10 year old out and we tore it up. I wish I could've stayed until the last chair as it was so dead on Lincoln. There wasn't even a line but 80 was getting gnarly so we jetted. What a day of nonstop refills. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Desktop I assume? Open your photo and then rotate it around, even if it started in the correct position. Then save. It somehow fixes it.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

    That's a cool shot.

Fingers crossed that CalTrans is faster tomorrow AM than they were Tuesday. We shall see.

OFFICIAL TAHOE 18/19 STOKE, CONDITIONS, WEATHER THREAD

Caltrans should enjoy a long breakfast tomorrow morning. No need to get on the road work until 10am or so. Get the pass open by 1pm and the Spur a little later.

Love that zone. Bet it was great today. A bit away from the lifts was great today. Nice deep turns.

At Heavenly with outta town folks today.
Gondola running super SLOW all morning, long ASS LINE.
Gondola closes at 1pm, everyone is herded towards CA Lodge.,
Stayed on the NV side, lapping trees on Comet & Olympic all day, no lines, freshie refills every run.
Traversed over to CA side, good stuff, but many folks. Got in Shuttle line at 445 (to get back to Gondola village), called UBER at 6pm because freezing ballz off, buzz waning, and Heavenly support staff told us at least another hour wait....WTF. That sucked.

Red crushing LAT's. (low angle trees)

East Bowl was money today. Lapped it from 1-4.

Had a beer in the CA lodge bar after and then waited in a crazy long line for the shuttle bus back to NV. Heavenly royally screwed the pooch on logistics today. Heads should roll.

PS Great shots posted above. Stoke is high.

They do not care. Standard operating procedures.

3yr old ripped 7 & 9 today for 3 hours. He was having a ball.
I'm cool with this, as long as you Kirkwood Bro Brah's stay away from Heavenly when 88 closes- TahoeBc

Could be a real challenge to get anything open today, after blowing nearly a foot before bed out of my driveway and randomly waking up at 4:15 to find 2 more feet in the driveway and the road unplowed it my be difficult for employees to even get to work today.

Spent 1 1/2 hours clearing snow, with loose sluff avalanches coming down off my berms and its still pounding, holy shit

Got up early today to clear snow to go ski.... but there's like 16" outside here in Galena Forest (maybe more, maybe less -- a through-the-window estimate in the dark) and Mt Rose highway is still closed, so no patrollers or staff are getting up there to open the hill.

Guess tomorrow will be the day!

And Mt Rose reports they are closed today, with 18-20" new, and still snowing. No surprise, given the highway closure. If the road was closed all night, do plows go through?

Winds were screaming in Galena last night eh? I couldn't make it down my street (Rose rock) last night due to 4-5 ft drifts across it. Got the Tacoma super stuck and it took 45 minutes of shoveling to get it back into the drive way. My kids bummed about Rose today as we got there Saturday in time for one run on Zephyr before it shut down. Drove over to the Rose side and did five runs on Lakeview. Good snow, froze are ass off on that slow ass chair.
