WTT/WTS Vipec Blacks for Tectons
I have two pairs of the coveted(?) Vipec Blacks I would like to trade for Tectons. I would be willing to throw in a bit of cash, assuming it makes sense.
I would also be willing to sell them in order to use the $ for new Tectons if necessary.
I already own Tectons as well, and for my needs I prefer them.
Both pairs come with 120mm brakes, however the pair that is currently mounted to a set of BG’s does get hung up and sometimes does not deploy smoothly, because of the skis waist width.
One set has somewhere in the vicinity of 50 days on them. They still operate perfectly, and look quite good. There are marks from my pole tips on the toe and heel levers, reflecting normal use.
The other set probably has less than half that amount of days, and looks that much fresher. This set is mounted to a set of 188 Atomic Auto 102’s, that I would also part with, mounted for ~310 BSL.
Detailed pics available upon request.

Just to make sure I'm not on crack. It's two pairs of Evo Blacks for two pairs of Tectons correct?

I can’t say for sure whether or not you’re on crack, but almost all true. Sorry to not be more specific, pre-Evo. I’m a little rusty on all the different nuances, but I think what makes this version desirable to some is that this version does not dent your boots in the event of a knee fall. The version that has the 3 different inserts for the toepiece to allow for proper release. I’ll post a reference pic in a bit.
I didn’t necessarily figure one person would want to swap for both pairs, but that would definitely work for me.
In all seriousness, Lee, hopefully it is clearer than mud now.

Here’s a few pics of the less used set. For anyone interested, I can and will send you more pics to make sure the condition is properly understood.
I would definitely rather trade than sell, but maybe there isn’t much of a market for that. I haven’t looked into pricing too much, but I know the mags won’t be shy about giving me advice on $ if it is needed.
$350 and $300, respectively , net to me, seems fair to me off the top of my head.
Bobby, sorry I don’t have any RX’s to sweeten the pot!

Hmmm. Thinking about it. I don't really need my Tectons. Hope you're not in a rush

^Just a little antsy. No real need to be in a rush, since it is August. I’ll PM you if I feel ready.

I have a pair of new-in-box Tectons (the latest 2018 version) with 120mm brakes. $350 shipped?
One caveat is that they irritatingly arrived in the box in several pieces rather than the brakes/bases being nicely attached to the heel pieces, so you'll have to fiddle a bit before mounting them. They are new, and I checked that everything is in the box.
