I assume it's transferable, but who knows. I got it in an email promoting the Mountain Collective pass, with this language:
This credit is only valid on orders in USD and can be used towards the purchase of a Mountain Collective pass on Liftopia.com before 11:59pm (MST) on 8/28/2018
