    Auctions are not a hands-off selling platform. The seller still needs to provide an informational package, documentation, pictures, and transport for the car. Many auctions require the seller be present during auction and most charge to run a car through auction regardless of sale or not.

    Selling a car isn't rocket science. Clean the car, take good pictures, advertise at a reasonable price, and wait. Get a Marti report. If it's as nice as described, it will sell. Don't rule out the free sites.

    Hemmings = $100-170
    Autotrader Classics = $50-150
    BAT = $100
    eBay = $125
    Craigslist = free
    KSL = free
    Mustang clubs = free

    Jesus Christ Kenny. This is your advice. Drive the car to a country club and just hang out

    Drive it around rich neighborhoods ??? Hope somebody flags you down?

    How to Sell a Classic Car?

    Be cool to have Bobby sell it. TR the whole thing with photo and vid.

    Put Bobby and sfb in video. That would sell.

    Bobby and I don't always see eye to eye, but I'd say for sure, if he's willing, let him do the deal. He is a mag ya know.

    Thought this was a good place to put this, cool ‘barn find’ story all around.

    Would be cool to have a Mag sell/broker the deal. Bobby seems like the go-to option. Looking forward to seeing what comes of this.

    I see what you did there.

    Much like Dante in Clerks, they weren’t even supposed to be there.

    If this was just about any other muscle car than a ford, I'd be possibly interested.

    Camaro, Chevelle, nova, charger, challenger, super bee, gto, 442, etc

    Restoration of barn finds requires tons of money. I started a '63 Vette convertible and gave up, it ate money. Traded it for a like new 1999 coupe and never looked back.

    My college buddy's dad was a fan, he bought my college buddy a '67 convert black top/interior think it was the straight 6 3 speed. Damn that was a sweet ride with many fun memories. Manual top was a PITA though. that was about 1983-1984 and I'm sure its long gone, had a birtha skull & roses on the bumper wait what were we talkin about?

    I mean, the thread was resurrected by someone who clearly must've been using the search function... So, ya know, at least someone was using the search function.
