When my grandfather learned at the age of 60 that he had prostate cancer he refused treatment.
He said “god dammit Bobby, i’ll be fine when I can get back to the ranch and can pee straight straight out again instead of pointing it down all the time”

He died at age 96 - of a heart attack.
