It will be slow - once you're up you will not be able to go down the west side this evening. Not sure what's going on with WB to the summit but it seems to be a "residents only w/ proof of residency" situation currently
Isn't confirmed BBI attendance considered proof of residency?

Thinking of trying to make friday/sat to meet some people, enjoy some snow and pretend i know how to ski.
What's the deal with lift tickets at alpental?
Never been (recent transplant to the PNW) and only thing i can find online is summit tickets. Same same, but different?
Looks like a two day online is ~107 bucks.

yes, that gets you access all day to all the areas under the Snoq umbrella
that price goes up by the day, so lock it in

    (unless a local has vouchers)

I think what he means is the east side of the pass, westbound. Sorta frustrating but I'm guessing they are trying to keep it from getting super clogged up there with the continued snowfall and such.

    Yeah that’s it, smh.
It’s been my experience that they roll the WB lanes before the east. But hey, you keep doin you....

Bringing a little table top grill. Will have some pre-rolled chorizo, potato, and egg breakfast burritos for the AM then have a bunch of burgers, cooked bacon, roasted peppers, cheese, onions, and condiments for later in the day.

Heard Summit Inn guests got their reservations cancelled because DOT is waffling now about getting the pass open Tomorrow.

Should the off chance that i90 and by extension Snoqualmie/Alpental not open tomorrow, I would be more than happy to lead a group of mags around Stevens Pass/the High2 resort. I'm already taking the day off work, might as well make the most of it.

Obviously with Baker Bob's blessing and all that. Not trying to derail, but if we can't get to the hill and people are in from out of town, may as well ski.

From the source directly, also now on the conditions page:

With the road not fully open, but improving, we plan to reopen tomorrow, February 14th. So get ready for powder Thursday and be sure to check the road status/conditions before you leave home. Stay safe out there!
We convene in the SW corner of LoT4 @ 0730

Is your source able to offer opinion on West bound traffic for tomorrow AM? My WSDOT source is not optimistic for any word before 8/9am but will keep checking for me. Hoping you have better intel with your boots on the ground contacts.

Would hate to depart here at 4am to get to the pass and have it still closed.

I just got off the phone with management...
They are pretty confident that West bound will open tomorrow.
This is based on control work intel and other factors.

Thanks, was management able to give a time estimate on that "They are pretty confident that West bound will open tomorrow"

If my memory serves me correct...you have to come up that way too...unless you are already up there in the Tiger?

They did not provide a time frame, sorry.
I'm in Hyak, right around the corner from your rental, assuming you are staying with 2F and co.

Tap - hope you make it up one of these years.
