I'm in Hyak, right around the corner from your rental, assuming you are staying with 2F and co.
Damn...no worries. Commitment issues so far out from the date kept me from joining in on the 2F party. My reservation was cancelled by the lovely manager at The Summit Inn this morning due to the pass being closed. If it were to open early tomorrow, I would stay the night at the Inn and head east Fri pm after a few laps.

Summit Inn had no power last night. Looks like restaurant is not staffed and somehow flooded.

Not much open up here: Chevron, the market...

I'm sitting hear at the motel in Eburg, mincing my Kimbo Kush and Magic Man recently acquired from the freakishly attractive chick at the budstore. 2Funky and Skilyft should be here any minute and we shall prepare for a pre dawn assault on the summit. Or we'll wait.

Fingers crossed for you BBear; More often than not, the issue is not getting up and out of the valley. Even in a storm. Moreso, can you're plane get in from it's prior place - Delta/SLC? You're gonna make it.

Let's get some positive Irie goin on.

edit: Here's a coupla tidbits: Today is my first day in Washington in over 53 years, actually ever.
This weekend will mark 40 years to the day that I learned to ski at Blueknob, near Altoona PA. in 1979. The Blizzard of "79... deep pow in my fucking psyche.

See you kooks tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, lamb bacon is not made by my butcher anymore. We will have to make due with regular bacon.

Do we think the lifts will get running on time or will control work delay things in the morning?

Damn, so sad won't be there until Friday night, barring miracles tomorrow. But I did get Norse's Thai order done. Figured I'd take some pics lest accusations of restaurant repackaging begin to fly. Ehhh... NVM... You'll know it didn't come from a restaurant when you try it.

Bone broth chicken noodle is also done and salmons are dry brining in brown sugar, salt, and pepper for da smokah (I'll bring unseasoned chunks as well).

Wife's white chicken chili is done, and she also threw down some homemade peanut clusters that I'm to deliver with her regrets for this year and a rain check for next.
