I'm roadtripping with my waxing iron, but I don't think my little car battery & inverter can power it.

Hoping there's a way for me to stealth-wax at Alpental. That way I won't need to force a slealth waxing session before I arrive, like in a big city parking garage or wherever.

So...Does Alpental have any outdoor electrical outlets where I could stealth-wax without getting shut down by an employee? Or maybe a secret indoor stairwell with outlet?

Or a maggot RV with decent electrical power? (That way, I could wax on the parking lot right outside the RV.)

    .

From the wsdot cams this am i90 is rolling 12" deep still. Alpental access road is on lock down and it is still snowing. Close to 80" of storm snow since last Friday sitting on hard ice and facets, I do wish our avy crews the best today.
Move upside and let the man go through...

I’ll be watching pass reports closely and most likely will be at the pass this afternoon. If any early arrivals wish to meet up and ski central (should it open) let me know.

I'd like to donate something to the raffle. I have some wine, mostly pinot noir and I'd like to pick something to donate in which people might actually be interested.

    How about this:

If there's no interest, I can dig around for something else. One can find this retail for around $80 +shipping and taxes.

Value goes up if there is a "Buster" review of said grape.

Fuck, you want wine dork out?
    ok
FWIW, I think it's more dark fruit, tar, tobacco, rich style of French pinot. Way different than Cali or eve Oregon styles, not as sweet as those in general but not like the higher toned Cote de Nuits like Chambolle, Morey or Vosne. It's a more formal taste, big spectrum. I like to let these warm up and decant for a while.

I'm hoping to make it there tomorrow and on Friday if I can overcome the snow here. But I have to leave by 1:00 on Friday.
Anyway, can I put in a buyback bid in absentia for Saturday?
