So what is the real truth regarding presidents day traffic up there? Is it actually ok to get around if you need to drive and are there actual parking spots big enough to fit a Subaru? Mt Hood area gets to be a total disaster and I've been making the drive out the Baker city for presidents day just to avoid it.

Taking Thursday and Friday off that week to enjoy maximal mag-age. I will also have crash space in Snoqualmie the Town, not the Pass, if anyone needs.

    Essential.

I dig skiing in the rain, as long as it hasn't snowed too recently... place clears out and the snow is fun. RainCorn

Glad I’m not the only one who brings OJ gloves on a ski outing. Mine are black though.

hahahahah LMFAO at that. took me a minute .

I had a long , physically laborious day today and this thread has pulled me right out of my fatigue. So much great vibe in August, sick photo stoke and that awesome sense of anticipation that we all kinda get.

NWS - good thing you got us up and running on the thread. Sounds like more than a coupla mags were ready to blow. Finally some real summer stokeage.

baby bear - thx for the invite. We'll meet and ski long before BBI I expect. We'll get the JH contingent dialed and rolling in the Heavy Attack Mode.
Are you planning on BBI UT as well?

About that rain gear thing. I always wondered if you could ski in one of those Tyvek jumpsuits. Just don't fall or you're off to the races.

Raincorn - geez it's been a while since I had some of that.

    The night skiing looks Tits.

OK, now I feel good enough to go get in a little training time.

    For Alpental.

    After a coupla tubes...

I had a couple fantastic rain corn days. One of the best was Monday (3/13) the week before Serpentine Massacre (3/18). No recent snowfall (I think like 5 days), and no real hard freeze, so super soft wet corn. Perfect for charging down the mountain with nice carved turns.

You can get Helly Hanson work wear rain gear (jacket, bibs, or pants) for like 50 bucks on sites like amazon. Heard I believe on TGR that their work wear rain gear kept the rain out 100% but stored a large quantity of heat. I need to pick up some for next season, though I sweat heavy and easily, so it could be interesting to see how it works for me.

It’s climbing back up towards 87%. Was super stressed out from summer school and other bullshit this past week.

I wanna go just to see if I can keep up with Abraham, Norseman, 2funky and LWS. I assume Rx and Billy Goats are the skis to bring, looking at the terrain and you guys talking about rain.
