What is this 2++ jacket with brushed polyester liner? Will you be making it in more colors? Detail pics?
Maybe I'll finally get a new jacket this year. And pants.
    No longer stuck.

It's snowing folks. Get these sweet jackets. Toured in the Bross 3.0 today. What a money midlayer. Had a light softshell over it down to ~15F. Its DWR on the midlayer is nice when shoving skins inside your shell.

Didn't realize it until I snapped this pick, but it's Freerides next to the FreeRide sticker.

its a one off deal....only size medium.....im not completely sure how it even happened....but a couple years back we had some that were size XL I think....these were in our warehouse and no one new why they had not been listed previously....so if our medium, (which is equal to other brands size large) works for you, i would pick one up....they are nice with the brushed interior.....

No one else is interested in these?
Burly denier and brushed interior seems like the best thing for skiing hard with long, cold lift rides in between.

    Badump bump.
Maybe a different name so it stands out as a different product?
TBH, you're naming system now is a bit confusing. Everything is Antero.

No one else interested in a brushed interior in, say, bright blue?
Would be like an old RPK or Saber or etc, but probably more breathable.
You could call it the stucky special. Or better yet, call it anything else.

I was very much interested. My hard shell would be that much better with the slightest insulation. Unfortunately that would leave me trading in one FRS for a new one!

    MiCol,
How much insulation does this liner add? I know that's hard to qualify, but just in your opinion...

you would be surprised. I think these liners in any of our jackets are all about regulating the amount of heat escaping or blending with outside air. So, the Ant 2 with the most fleece is going to feel the most warm and need the least layers (of what we make) , the brushed tricot, provides 2nd most insulating properties, ( ive wrn this jacket as we had some either large or xl's that got sold direct to someone), it is more insulating than our pure tricot interior Ant 2+ hardshell. dialing it down from there into more usuable 411 im not sure if i can do, .....pre 2010 i used to ask fritz at mely??wtf the difference between some fabrics on his pullover and he would dodge the answer....buy finally he would just say to me....10%...i was like wtf....10% of what, "10% warmer", hmmmmmm. the brushed A2+ is probably more than 10%

I’m a medium in the Antero and my large Bross 1.0 is too big so I’d assume I’m a medium in the 3.0.

hmm....they fit closer because there is less stretch....you may be candidate for large....maybe a few people that own them can chime in ....i think there were 2 people that picked up mediums stashed around, and not on website, from this thread, i can looks at records, i think doebedoe was one of them....and remember him talking about fit vs a bross 2.0 he owns.....paging doe.....

5'11 and 190ish in a medium. Those are such good layers. I wish I had one without a hood.

Agree the 3.0 you can upsize. I’m a M in Antero and v2 Bross. I could wear an L in 3.0 Bross due to less stretch. M works well as a layer, L would be better for wearing as an outer. Which you’ll want to do with this.
