The GPO and the -1 protest.

I had that ski in the cart and a couple mags here referring to it as the chickentest.

And the keith dropped the Quixote and I bought that instead

    “Cool story bro”

Always love seeing the custom orders roll in.

HAB - imma need a lap on those at some point.

    That crumpled/quilted maple is awesome!

I have a load of skis and I will say it until I am blue in the face - the GPO is by far one of the best skis I own…. It is the Swiss Army knife of skis…. Congrats and enjoy…!

    Wait, what?

Haven't been paying attention, but my skinny Q is such a fun ski. I love it (almost) as much as my GPOs.

The Q is still in the line up…. What I believe Thom was referring to was he oredered a custom Q with a specific top sheet and ended up selling due to the Asym…

That was my take. I know I'm in the minority. 95% of the time, the Q was perfect. Then, there was the 5% of the time when I struggled with avoiding a "Tabke moment". I found myself skiing transitional conditions with that in the back of my head.

Both the GPO and my Down CD 114s suit me better. The choices available to us spoiled kids are incredible.

Sick skis. The correct spelling of champing sent it over the top.

Ah, OK. I went directly to the website to check that Qs are in fact still available.

Turns out my custom GPOs got printed with the wrong graphic. Keith has been awesome about making it right, and offered the wrong ones to the mag community for $499 shipped.. cheapest new GPOs you're going to find. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll put you in touch..

Despite the mistake, I can't say enough for their customer service!!

Nice. The texture of that crumpled maple is like pseudo iridescent. I love it.

That's fucking awesome. I thought about doing the Powdah Snek Black over veneer instead of the White that I went with, but Keith had that darker Freak Burl Maple that I really liked and I though that would be too dark with the black. Looks excellent over a lighter wood though! Cool to see some wood grain coming through even under the black parts.

Daaayuuum! I want. Just curious, did you change the camber profile at all? What kind of build did you go with? I’m super jazzed on the FRS, would really like to give em a go

I went stock except for the wood veneer. They have very little camber. Can't wait to shred them!
