Max top sheet is great!

They came in at 1899/1903g (left/right). Pretty impressive for a 126mm waist.

I mounted a previous MVP at -1 mainly due to lack of engagement on firmer snow from lots of tip rocker and taper. With this new 108 shape I think this won’t be an issue, but I have a line in to Keith to get his take.

Yeah Keith made it sound like the new 108 is pretty different from the past MVP and much more dialed for firm snow (and everything for that matter). I guess since it’s a newer shape we’ll just have to guinea pig it and report back on what feels good

I absolutely love it. The last few pairs of skis I ordered from Keith, it was down to Tsunami and whatever else. One day, I'll ride the wave ;-)

The only "problem" with it is that the mountains are hidden by the mounting area, but ya gotta put the mountains somewhere.

Those and the Max graphic on veneers are hot. Well, I say that about a lot of the graphics on the veneers, though I'm more surprised when a busy one, like Max, come out so nice. And sweet personal touch with the reference to Woody - there are some double/triple meanings in there.

Welp. That there’s the shit. I think I just had a momentary envy.

My customs arrived today: 192 GPO, heavy hitter with carbon and a crumpled maple veneer. They weighed in at a perfect match of 2422g per ski, which floors me. 191cm straight pull. Gonna put some Pivot 15s on them. Probably gold.
