FedEx just dropped these off, and holy shit.

187 UL Protests, -1 width, with a freak burl maple veneer and Powdah Snek White graphic. 1903 and 1915 g per ski, to be mounted with Moment Voyagers.

Am I the only one who can't see the pic in that post? The description sounds pretty exciting.

holy fack HAB!! That is purty!

Is it 118 underfoot? I look forward to your review. I LOVE touring in 187 Protests, but a 118 version that surfs just as well in a UL/veneer (Ibex) may be in my future. Unless Keith can still make WooTest 2s...

Yep, 118 underfoot. I'm hoping for the same surfiness as my MAP Veneer 192s in a lighter, more touring-friendly package. Will report back this winter!

    182 UL/Veneer/flex 3 GPO (+10mm) is here.

    Max top sheet is great!

They came in at 1899/1903g (left/right). Pretty impressive for a 126mm waist.

    Pix to follow.

Since we’re doing stats: 188 4 enduro veneer (obvs) 2133g/2136g. I was a thinking if they came in light I’d mount with shifts but this weight is right in a resort chop slayer position, Aaaaaaatack 16’s are going on these.

I'm definitely getting another Praxis veneer next year if Keith does the sale again. I'm too broke otherwise now.

Where are you guys mounting your MVP 108s for those who got them? I'm deciding between on the line (-6) or +1 (-5). Keith said he and the team usually run theirs a bit in front of the line but can't go wrong anywhere within a few cms of recommended. I really like my Bibby/PBJ/Wildcat mounted at -5 but did buy these primarily for days when we have 4-6" of fresh snow so float is a priority

man, following this thread in the coming weeks is going to be quite the treat with all the awesome custom skis being delivered. The two last custom pairs look sensational.

Man, Praxis skis just look so good - or, besides some of the stock graphics though that are absolutely horrible But their bbuild quality is great none the less

-8, 2cm back from the line. I think that's about as progressive as I can muster.

I mounted a previous MVP at -1 mainly due to lack of engagement on firmer snow from lots of tip rocker and taper. With this new 108 shape I think this won’t be an issue, but I have a line in to Keith to get his take.
