Positive Irations to RootSkier and Stowelen
So hard to lose a great friend.
I had to put down a 22 yr. old cat last Friday.
It's the wind down that crushes me.

Just had to put my 14 year old lab to sleep. Goodbye Bailey. Pic from younger, happier days.

Fuck this sucks.
Vibes guys. As it’s been said, “dogs only fault is that they don’t live long enough.”
It took a while to get over losing our puppy, very different for me from an old dog. Heart wrenching but different. The only good news I have to offer is there is a little demon like this waiting for you to bring him into your home.

Vibes to all. Always feels like betrayal at the end but you have to do what’s right for them. We had to put down our 14yr old basset mix Harley, last year. We waited a couple months but our other dog Spartacus (and honestly us) were missing him and wanting a new dog.
Got a rescue and watched Spartacus play and teach the new puppy (Ginger) things that Harley had taught him.
Now, when I see her doing them, it makes me smile and think of Harley.
This is her the day we brought her home. She was 3 weeks.

What a beautiful little pup, so hard letting them go, but so fun to get that new pup. The process begins again.

I put down my 14 yr old lab last Saturday. It was really difficult. I took her up to my cottage to bury her thinking it would be a good way for some closure and I was wrong. It was almost as hard as being with her for her last breath.

Fack
Know many dudes that dug a hole for a big dog. Can’t imagine the tears.
I’ll prolly puss out and cremate
Sitting here between a 14 y.o. And a 1 yr pup. Wondering how long the old girl can keep on. She’s tough though, and the pup keeps her moving. . .
