    Removing antique aluminum bindings.

Anyone know how to remove these bindings? I don't even know where the mounting screws are. Lol!

In the second picture, those aren't screws just inside the brakes. They're rivets or something. The "slotted screws" in the front are only holding the side tabs on and don't go into the ski.

Did you try moving the heel forward or back on it's track to see if screws are hiding under there? Is there anything under those to "screws"?

Slide AFD back and remove 2 screws. Push toe piece forward or back(cant remember) and remove toe. There is a 3rd screw that is a post for the binding. Adjust heel back and remove 2 screws by brake base. Move heel forward out of that small track you see and then remove those 2 screws. Use a Pozi#3.

I believe you just pry the AFD up with a screwdriver to expose the two back screws, then push the toe forward and it will fall off the center front screw. After this long, you may have to tap the toepiece with a hammer.

Or something similar for sure. Been a long time. Either way, it starts with AFD removal

    Removing antique aluminum bindings.

It’s been awhile but I think you release the tension on the toe piece then pull the arm pieces out...should see the screws

This and especially the bold, although a #2 would also be OK. If you try to use that phillips bit in the photo you're going to strip the heads before they even begin to move.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Back to this damn ski. The plastic pops off of the top of the front binding, but there's nothing much under there to help. Also, the AFD lifts up freely with nothing under it. I'm lost on this. Click image for larger version.
