"You know in 1900, President Taft went to visit President Diaz. Took 4000 men with him...
And it almost was called off - some guy, had a pistol. Was gonna walk right up to Taft and just blow his brains out - but it was avoided...
    4000 troops...Think he felt safe?"

What I want is Little Feat feat: lil John.

    All up on me sayin’
Will you be my Dixie chicken?
    YEAH! YEAH!
Will you be my Tennessee lamb?!

Didn’t some dude who played track at OkSU have a version of this, oh what was his name?

There was a two month period where some buddies and I spent every Saturday morning pulling bong hits and listening to Waiting for Columbus live album over and over.

IMO the best song on the album is Spanish Moon

Agreed, but "Rock and Roll Doctor" from the Deluxe Edition is a close second.

WFC was my least favorite of the LG era Feat records. Don't get me wrong. Great record, but not the best.

    1. Last Record Album
    2. Sailin' Shoes
    3. Dixie Chicken

I present you with an example of a "music lover" that prefers studio recordings to live music.

    Apples and Bananas, dude.

He's just in a bad mood the past few months, he'll be okay.

You did pick 3 studio albums over the live one after all.

And like everybody else you left off "Little Feat", which imo is the best one although very different from the rest.

I love them all. The three listed are just the ones I find myself listening to most often. LRA was the one that introduced me to Feat and it hardly left the cassette deck in my '59 VW for several years in the '70's. It's the soundtrack to a lot of my young adulthood so I have an affinity for it in particular.

Some artists I find myself listening to live stuff mostly. No preference for either. It's more about the version of the tune, production, just what happens to get played.

Magic happens in the studio and on stage. But I'm no music lover so what do I know?

I think that's a '57 or '58. Note the semaphores for signals and mirror placement. Mine had actual signal lights on the front fenders on one driver's side mirror outside the wing vent. No gas gauge, 36hp, one-knob on the floor heat adjustment. My first car. Looked just like that one otherwise.

So my buddy up the street and his 16yrold son spent about a year building this from the ground up. Within a month of the finish the son had totaled it. I am just old enough to remember riding in these as a kid. Think this one was 55? 56? very small oval rear window.

I've seen a couple of beautifully restored Baby Makers running around town.
